Action words on websites convert visitors into customers

Enhancing the content on a business website by using action-oriented words can make it easier for entrepreneurs forming an LLC to convert visitors into customers.

The text and content on a website should act as a set of instructions for visitors, clearly identifying what the "next step" is, writes Stoney deGeyter at Search Engine Guide.

Instead of merely supplying information, deGeyter says a website should use action words that entice a visitor to explore as they follow an easy, step-by-step process to becoming a customer.

"[U]se words that convey action. Tell visitors how you achieved your knowledge or skills. Tell them how they will benefit from your product or services," deGeyter writes. "Give them examples of the results they will see. And, most importantly, give them some calls to action."

Using hyperlinks within the text is an effective way to grab the attention of a potential customer and encourage them to take action. Using internal links for key words provides access to information and makes it easy for visitors to purchase a product or service.
