Customer loyalty programs help support small business growth

Once an entrepreneur has taken the first step of starting an LLC for their small business, they must build a strong customer base. Creating a loyalty program is one way to make sure that customers keep coming back.

"Each loyalty-leader treats their customers like they’re made of gold – meaning there is a deep level of respect and courtesy given to customers," says loyalty strategist and business author Roger Brooks.

Brooks says there are a number of ways to create a successful loyalty program, but the biggest part is making sure entrepreneurs give customers a reason to be loyal, and choose their business over the competition.

In addition, Brooks says it’s important to offer relevant incentives, clearly disclose all program rules, get employees to help promote the business and constantly communicate information about the program to customers.

Working to keep current customers coming back is a much more cost-effective strategy than trying to recruit new ones. Inc. magazine writer Rhonda Abrams said that it can cost between two and 40 times as much to get a new customer than it does to retain one.ADNFCR-3052-ID-19914587-ADNFCR
